Been playing with phase plug & what caught me by surprise is the lenght of the phase plug affects the sound greatly.

1/ The phase plug does a couple things: fills the holeleft after you remove the dustcap.

2/ the PP will block any waves traveling across the cone. Thus pushes those rsonances up at least an octave and much of it is redirected forward.

Hard to grasp that even the lenght of the PP affects the sound so much.
Btw I also played with installing a ball at the tip of the PP, now this affect dispersion
as well, here size matters Lol. Pinpong ball too big cuts too much of highs away.

Thanks again Dave
