Mini-regs are optional. You may populate yourself, ask me to get the boards populated, or you may want to use tentlabs, W.Jung, alw, salas etc. as well.

Will there be an option on the GB sheet to state our interest in those? Will there be extra cost for them?

Currently I do not have the price for Linear reg chips. There are 4 of them and the price will increase a little.
After we pass all beta tests, I'll mention the price for board with regs mounted.

For those of us who have discarded our SPDIF input dac?

I was going to ask and see that Rick already did that. There was no ability to tap I2S from the original Shigaclone. Can that be made available on this one?

LC78601 DSP chip have only S/PDIF output.

It will include:
- main board
- power supply
- display and control board
- low noise shielded trafo
- CD mechanic
- Al non-magnetic CD puck
- IR remote control

I also consider to redesign the PCB, to change connectors and improve layout. So, this will be a Shiga MKII version. 🙂
