I have a beloved, 15+ year old five channel Sherbourn amp that has been the anchor (literally and figuratively--the thing is HEAVY) of my theater system for a long time.
I recently moved, and when I powered it up, only the middle three channels work. The other two make no sound, and the power indicator lights don't turn on.
My guess is that something came loose/broke during the moving process.
Any insights on what that might be and how it might be fixed? I can take the cover off and look, but my expertise would be limited to seeing if a wire is not connected. And it is honestly so heavy that getting it out of my basement and to a repair shop is pretty daunting.

It will probably be dry joints, (cracked solder joints) around any component that is either heavy with small wires of a semiconductor attached to a heat sink. As the heavy component or heavy heat sink will vibrate when moved and can cause a bad connection.
It may be a cable pulled out but not too likely.
