Sharp QA panels

Hi there,

Just bought myself a Sharp QA-1200 and QA-1150 panel both of which didn't have a power supply. So, I went out and bought one.

However, I want to check what the polarity of the power supply connector which fits into the panel should be, i.e. should it be positive on the inside and negative on the outside barrel or vice versa. I guess it's the same for all sharp panels so if there's any owners out there please could you have a look for me?

Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance, Rich

I belive the center is positive ..

Take a good look at where the jack plugs in .. you'll see
a raised symbol which denotes the polarity ..

Check with this website:

http://www.accesscomms.com.au/polarity.htm

and match your symbol to the one on there and that
will tell you if you have positive center etc..

The symbol you are lookin either starts with a - or a +
has like a circle with a dot in the center (it will 'open' oneside )..
