well, with those screen shots, I wouldnt be suprised if the auction met the $300 its worth. good luck with it, although it would have been better if you had advertised it first on these boards so the people most interested in such an item would have a chance at offering an amount for it.
Good luck anyhow

I also put up my Viewsonic VB50HRTV:

FYI: The TV-4000 is *not* compatible with the QA-2500 (unfortunately), and the NextVision 5 looks terrible on it at 1024x768... leaving the VB50HRTV as the only reasonable line doubler for the QA-2500 that you can pick up for under $200.

Wow, the prices of these used panels are getting outrageous!
But it's even more outrageous to think that the prices we think are high today are nothing compared to what these panels retailed for back when they were the standard technology.
I still take a jump back every time I see information about a panel starting at $8,000 retail!
Remarkable.

$400.00??? for that you can get an oem projector on ebay and dont have to mess with OHP and allt hat other crap. seems over priced but goodluck.
No Comparison to Used PJs.
Prices are governed by market demand and the way you market them and it has some correlation to quality of the product. I have sold many items on ebay which I should have kept with me.

your panel, the qa2500 is now up to $400 with 3 days to go. what fools are actually paying these prices. I should have bought one about 1 month ago when they were going for about 300.
Whatever you did to your advertisement in ebay, you did it right

Thanks, I think... A guy offered to PayPal me $500 if I could cancel the auction and get it to him by the weekend. I declined.
I've also been considering the idea that, just maybe, some of these panels are beginning to develop collector value. It may sound crazy, and maybe I'm wrong, but I'm just getting that feeling. They may have kind of a retro-tech appeal... and there certainly aren't too many of them in good condition floating around anymore. The QA2500 is arguably the best panel ever made. I'm not saying that it will always sell for $400-$500... but it maybe not be doomed to the value of $20 in the future that your 1992 stereo VCR is now worth.
cough, splutter!!! $500, i feel i cant say what i feel about that price cause i'll get chucked off the forum for bad language, but $500. $500? some people, eh? You must have made a profit on that baby, eh?
You should have advertised X1 with your panel to dampen the spirites. Just joking , make as much as you can? You never no some body out there is using these for something and there is another forum going on about this.
Ask each bidder after the end of the auction that why are the keen on getting this one, because you know a forum where lot of people has these and with right price they will be willing to part with.
Hey Schmanthony,
Since you've had a QA-2500, do you know anything that might be able to help me with this issue?
