Sharp QA 15000 or Ovation 822c?

Hi,

Apparently the ovation has a contrast ratio of 200:1, whereas the Sharp is only 30:1. Obviously this sounds like a substantial difference, but do you guys know how noticable the difference is in the real world - is the ovation 6 times sharper in cotrast?

Any help choosing between the two models is appreciated

Ben

ever heard of commen sense? lol

they both have same resolution...only difference is in response time and contrast ratio. the 1500* crappy ratio or the ovation GREAT ratio....wow this decision is SOO hard i have to make a thread on it....🙄 😕 :ashamed: :dead:

Yeah that's right mate.

Because you can tell EVERYTHING about a product and it's general merit from it's specification alone.

Why even bother to reply if you've got nothing worth contributing? You're a waste of space.

revieve= recieve, i mispelled that one 🙁 (taku)
...any ways mr. pearlman b4 u get angry and call people sad you should of done your homework like I, Taku, and many of this site's users have done. and you dont need to know EVERYTHING about a product's merit especially its general specifications are bad, if you ever see ANY lcd panel with 30:1 contrast ratio even if it resolution is 2000x2000 its SH|T, im sorry if you taken my humor to the heart but it was just a joke...life goes on...

you want easy way out well here goes....get a minimum of 100:1 ratio...next time do a search you cant miss it...

(taku if you ever wanna play some Cs contact me ok ..so i can Pwn u..again...hehe)

whatsup guys?

I just don't "feel the luv" in here ya know what I mean?

Nega D: is correct and the panel specs tell the story... don't get all "expert" on us...it wasn't that long ago you or I among many others stumbled in here asking "less than informed questions". To answer one of these questions with hard sarcasm does everyone involved a diservice. (you didn't like it any more than I did)

The better bet is to "not give the answer asked for" instead give a couple of pointers on how the "quester" can find their own answer. More is learned and fewer feelings are stressed.

perleman: you were answered (not very politely I agree) but your question was resolved. You need to do a little research in this place....there is a wealth of knowledge in here. It's called DIY because for the most part it is "Do It Yourself" not "tell me what to buy and do.com".

When questions and theories are posted that have the look and feel of some genuine interest and "homework done" you will find the regulars swooping in to help and advise...and hopefully learn something new in the process.
