I have used a Sharp QA-1150, which is older and probably less advanced than the QA-1400. The 1150 is a good panel that is not quite as good as some other LCD projection panels only because it renders roughly 100,000 to 200,000 colors vs. the 1 or 2 million colors that the 1400 can probably render. I don't know if the 1400 has video (RCA or SVideo) inputs though, so you might be limited to using it in conjunction with a computer unless you buy an inexpensive video-to-VGA converter. I can help you find them for about $55. I don't carry them because other companies are able to offer them much cheaper than I can get them for, so I'll just point you to whoever happens to have it cheapest that week. Email me if there's anything else I can help you with, or you can also visit www.diylabs.org/projector/ because we have some good purchasing tips for LCD projection panels online.

It beleive it does have the rca, and other inputs. But I already have the tv to pc converter.
Thank you for your reply, I only paid $33 for it on ebay, so I thought I should jump on it.

Yes that is a good deal. The cheapest I've been able to find them recently is about $55 plus shipping. Is that an auction price or is someone selling them at that price all the time now? I don't need one, but you might want to advertise that price - there are a lot of others that could use one of those converters if it is any good. Thanks!
I didn't write that too clearly, what I meant was that I got the panel for $33.
I did pay $60 for the converter, sorry to confuse you.
