Hi, I would like to know what the dimensions of the power plug are on the Sharp QA-1400, I am pretty sure it uses the ADP-2004 power adapter. I have a QA-1400 without a power supply and intend to power it with an old AT computer power supply. I went to Radio Shack pretty confident in what I needed but there were quite a few more power plugs than I anticipated. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
i got a qa-1200. It came with a 120volts ac input adapter adp-0042 (useless to me, you can have it but i fed it with 240volts and i think blew a fuse... or screwed it completely, its got weird screws and i havn't taken it apart).
the dimensions of it are like 1.5x4x2 in or about that. you need one thats 12 volts and 2 amp or more.
i bought a usb-ide adapter for a pc from ebay and made sure it came with a 2amp power supply. one less fan in the setup unless you plan on using the pc power supply for other stuff like fans too.
