My 1150 based projector is almost completed. Got it together today and am testing now.

Sharp QA-1150 panel
250W metal halide with bowl reflector
OHP Fresnel
240mm B&L copy lens

Fifth Element. The image is 64" diagonal with the projector 89" from the wall. This is being projected on a panelled wall, note the vertical lines from the panelling. 😉

Shrek 2. The panelling creates a hotspot that shows up more in the photo than when viewing.

Hmm not bad! Great actually! The contrast, colors and details are much better than what Ive expected from a sharp qa-1150!

You should get a better (or just get one period) projection screen though, lol. With a decent white/silver screen, I dont see why 80 inches arent possible (except screen door).
