Looking to taking said projector out of its box and building new housing for use in home. My problem is I can't find any info on doing anything like this. My deal is that a new bulb for mine cost $467. Has anyone done this and if so is there a way to trick it in to thing the right bulb is in it. thanks in advance.
well I guess I have stumbled onto how to do it. With a bulb that is higher in watts than what the projector can do, it accepts any bulb that is 120 volt and atleast 275 watts. I put in a 500 watt 120 volt halogen bulb out of a work light I bought at wal-mart and it came on without shutting off. I ttested it for about an hour at most so far without any problems. I will post pics on what I did and how I plan on using it now.
Did you get your DT-100 Working??
Was just wondering if your work-around is working reliably...and how you did it. Do you have any pics?
