Shared current Power Supply

Is anyone using one of these in there equipment? How is the audio quality.

I have a transformer that has two sets of output taps at the same voltage. I was thinking about making one of these to feed my DAC daughter board in my sound processor. Just want to know if it's worth the trouble.
