Could anyone PLEASE assist with a service manual for a Shanling SCD-T200? I have a SACD read problem and also want to do some upgrades, so the service manual would come in very handy! 😀
SCDT200 Up Grade
I've done my upgrades from good things until bad things 🙂) Damaging the two servo boards & I've to wait for 4 months and pay US$ 200 to replace the servos (I bougth frm Shanling). I replace the valves wth WE 396A (sounds warmer. 6N1/ original valve sounds too sharp). I replace the o/p both valve sections' caps (headph & valve o/p) wth BG N (Blackgate. If Im not mistkn 220 uF) non polar and by pass it wth 1 uF BG N. The valve input caps I replace wth Auri Cap (1 uF).
In the solid state I replace its o/p caps wth BG N (I forget the value. U can see it directly).
I replace BB ICs wth Burson's single & dual discrete op amp. Result: sound becomes tighter/ solid, more open, more 3 D, more lows/ bass.
Last time I tried to put Burson's clock in it but damaged my servos (both). DONT TRY this one bcs Burson's clock is not suitable for SCDT200. Likely SCDT200 uses 3.3 V but Burson is 5 V. If your servo board is damaged I don't know whether Shanling still sell it/ not bcs they don't produce SCDT200 again. The servos are frm Sonny & Sonny already run out/ not prroduce it again. It's DVDA made in early year 2000 but not popular. U can read it on wikipedia.
My eml joeyahoo1@hotmail.com . Temporary I dont have internet. I could take a week to reply you.
