Hi,
Can some one please point me in the right direction to find out what the settings for the Hickok 539c vacuum tube tester are for a 300b type tube. I much appreciate this. Thank you.

I did a bit of checking and can make a recommendation. I did this by comparing the settings from my TV7 tester and 539C testers. The TV7 tester recommends:
300B
5.0 ER3-2000 60 (bias) C (range) 58 (transconductance)
2A3
2.5 ER3-2000 67 (bias) C(range) 38 (transconductance)
On the TV7 a transconductance of 38 (arbitrary units) is actual
1900uMhos. A setting of 58 translates to 2900uMhos
The 539C only has a listing for the 2A3. It recommends:
2.5 ER3-2000 24(bias) D (range) 1900(transconductance)
Extrapolating this to a 300B, I would suggest:
5.0 ER3-2000 21.5(bias) D(range) 2900(transconductance)
Let me know if this works out for you.

Hello TubeHound,
The 539B settings for the 300A/B tube exists in a factory-issued document called :
MODEL 539B - SUPPLEMENTARY DATA - WESTERN ELECTRIC TUBES
dated 3-9-56
You should be able to find it at :
Hickok Documentation, Manuals, Schematics, and Catalogs
Here's what it states, according to the Hickok 539 roll-chart codification :
300A/B
5.0
ER-3200-0
14.0
---
P4
D
4000
Short on A
I am very interested to know your measurements results to compare with the ones I have on my 539B and C...
Thanks !
