Set up and lighting?

Hello,
Thnak you for checking out my thread , I have looked at teh threads but could not find one to answer my questions.
1. I opted to got for a closed projection system not an OHP system. was this a good idea?

2. Is a 400 W metal halide bulb bright enough to work and project and image, and do you have any suggestions about other lighting options.

3. And what king of LCD panel do you suggest. Onw without the backlight or one that can have the backlight taken off easily. do you have any suggestions and what would the cost be of one of these LCD panels?

1. It all depends on what your trying to acomplish.

2. That should be fine. 575W is better, but 400 should definately work.

3. Taking out the backlight(s) is easy. It's sperating the boards that can be tough.
