servo motor for turntable drive

For a servo motor you dont really need a driver.

I have the same plan, and im going to use a mosfet and a pot+ some 🙂 to run it. Since we know that most dc servo motors gives 20v out when running 1000rpm...the rest should be possible to figure.

I though think that the servo motor you got there is a socalled brushless dc or an ac....i dont like the idea of any of those two types. They both have an impulse transmitter(is that the right word?) wich causes all kinds of trouble. The good old dc servo motor is nothing but a motor and a precision generator...thats more like something we can handle and get a good result from.

Magura 🙂

Magura,
Please refer to the other thread that comes with the attachment fotos.I needed the details of driver chip CXA8005 for the built-in brushless DC motor.Properply this might turn out to be a better motor drive possible for a turntable.
