I met Dick Sequerra at the last Stereophile show in NYC in 1989. He was by far my favorite audio personality at that show, down to earth. He was brilliant and really low key. I liked him a lot. Didn't hurt that he had one of the best sounding rooms at that show..
Stamford is a few hours from here. My parents used to live in Greenwich CT just after they moved back here in 1983. Stamford was home to GTE corporate headquarters where my dad worked.

It's a single lot unfortunately. (Edit: No, I was wrong it is individual lots, thanks to FF browser I was not able to read the lot numbers by default.) I was hoping it was divided into multiple lots, the only thing I would have wanted is a pair of his speakers. Nothing in evidence.
He also made a legendary digitally synthesized FM tuner and was one of the first to do so in the early 1970s. I believe he also designed the digitally synthesized FM tuner that HH Scott made in the early 1970s. I had the opportunity to buy one of those tuners a number of years ago but never followed through, the quality of FM here no longer justifies it.

I didn't know that Dick was the engineer for WNCN - I remember when they changed format from classical to rock -- the first new song was "Roll Over Beethoven".
Thanks for posting the link. Roger Friedman is interviewed by either Mike Reidel or Mark Simone on WOR-AM at least once a week.
