Seperate DAC and Output module?

I am building several DAC's along with I/V output modules. Can I put the DAC's and I/V output in two cases and use RCA cables to connect them? This way, I check try different DAC's with different I/V. Or is the DAC output signal too week to travel that far? Thanks!

I would not recommend it, its strong enough, but also weak enough for interference to play a part IMO. why not just keep it in the same box, but use molex or pin headers to connect it, this way its easy to switch IV stages or power supplies etc.

also I would recommend staying balanced from dac to IV, so RCA would be asking for noise IMO. if you choose SE output after that no problem, but best to keep the length of the SE cables as short as possible and utilize the CMMR of differential connections
