Thank you, Sonce
“You are good up to 2 - 3 kHz. Stick with 8-ohm drivers and make 12-unit line array with 4 parallel drivers in 3 serially connected groups. Total impedance = 6 ohms (nominal) and sensitivity = 94 dB/2.83V/1m.
Is it for home hi-fi, or for professional sound reinforcement (live concert, etc)?”
Thanks. I appreciate your kind reply.
This is just a (fun?) home audio project to replace the disappointing “sound bar”
that I got with my big screen TV. If indeed the 12 unit line array you specify is even close to 94db/W/M, then I’ll forgo the little tweeters in favor of the more sensitive PT2 leaf/“ribbon” tweeters I’ve been keeping. They should play well together. And thanks to the other kind responders for your encouragement.
(Now I need to rethink tweeter placement, as the PT2’s are over 6” tall).
Cheers! 😀

Make MTM arrangement - 6 drivers below and 6 drivers above the tweeter. Tweeter should be at ear level.
Planar ("leaf") tweeters may distort if the crossover frequency is too low - it should be at least 3 kHz, or above.
