SemiSouth in VAS stage of BA1 or BA2?

In other words, in place of the IRF610.

I saw a couple of off-hand remarks regarding this [1], but couldn't find the original conversations.

Good idea or bad? Anyone tried it?

Kind of big for that. Works in higher current applications, like J2.

R550 maybe , but even that one is wasted in VAS
