Selling Two HP 339A Distortion Analyzers

Not open for further replies.
I'm selling two HP 339A distortion analyzers which are excess to my current needs.

These are both in excellent working condition and were checked by a local calibration lab about a year and a half ago.

The Hewlett Packard HP 339A Distortion Measurement Set measures total Harmonic Distortion, True RMS Volts and has a built-in sinewave oscillator. This unit measures THD as low as 0.0018% over a 10 Hz to 110 kHz, including harmonics to 330 kHz. Distortion measurement range is 0.01% to 100% full scale. The oscillator frequency range is 10 Hz to 100 kHz. The output level is variable from 1mV to 3 V RMS into 600 ohms. Voltmeter range is 1mV to 300 V RMS full scale.

Asking price is $475.00 each but may consider reasonable offers. A search for HP 339A on Google will lead you to pictures and possibly more information.

Email me if interested in either one of these fine units: johnf@audioamps.com

Alaska is a long way. How much to ship ground to San Francisco?

Figure 25 LBS (11.3 Kg) by UPS ground from ZIP 99701 or 99707 or 99712.

Alaska is not as far as you think. We have all the services you have down there. UPS has ground service from here going down south. Actually it is part air and part ground. The USPS priority mail postal rate is not bad. Just takes slightly longer.

We in Alaska are the ones that suffer on UPS shipping since we always have to pay for second day delivery going North.

To figure costs go to:

Added information

The HP 339A Distortion Measuring Set is an ultra low distortion measuring system complete with total harmonic distortion (THD) analyzer, true-rms voltmeter and sine wave oscillator. This measurement set allows you to make distortion measurements as low as 0.0018 % over 10 Hz to 110 Khz. Including harmonics to 330 Khz. The true-rms voltmeter has a 1 mv to 300 V measurement range. It also has a relative function for ease of measuring gain. Thus this test set has three items in one compact bench top unit, a sine wave signal generator, a true-rms voltmeter and a distortion analyzer.

Input and output attenuators are built into the 339A for total manual control of input and output levels when required. No set level adjustment or nulling adjustments need to be made when measuring distortion mode since it is fully automatic when using its internal oscillator as a signal source. This unit is in excellent condition.

The buyer to actual shipping cost and a packing charge of $10.00. We except personal check, PayPal or cashiers check. Item will be shipped after checks clear
