selecting drivers

i've actually got two questions.

#1. if i used two 75watt rms 8 ohm subs in parallel versus one 150watt rms 4 ohm sub, would there be any benifit? or just more money and hassle?

#2. if i use say a 150watt rms sub in a three way speaker, how would i know how powerful of a mid and tweeter to get so i don't blow them up while operating the speaker at the subs max volume. my amp outputs 2590watts rms at 4 ohm.

i meant that my amp outputs 250W rms/channel at 4 ohm, not 2590 hahah. and i guess i'll just go with a single driver. we are looking at the RE subs from reaudio, but idk if they will work, because can you get their full power by only using one of the voice coils? and is their power handling half as much?

and about the midranges and tweeters, do most tell their handling in a 3way speaker? such as this...

Model PCM-85 Midrange open face closed back. Polymica cone, Rolled foam surround. Rated 60 watts direct RMS 150watts in system. 5.25" diameter (4-3/4" across mounting holes). Resp. 500 to 15KHz. Produces 96 db@ 1w/ 1m. 8 ohms. 12 oz. Magnet. Aluminum Voice coil.
