Seeking Crown Amplifier Recommendation

I'm seeking premium Crown model for driving under 130hz Dipole Bass with 4 x Acoustic Elegance Dipole Woofer.

Any suggestion for a very good one??

Try a used MA2400. Avoid anything designed or made in the last 10 years.

I've had excellent results in a couple of high end systems with the Crown XLS series amplifiers. Even the lowest powered one (the XLS1002) is more than enough for what you describe.

The MA2400 or 2402 have very loud fans that might be of concern. If you want power, and maybe a xover the Drivecore XLS will provide without fan noise. I use these daily for left and right and love them.

The TI range is also excellent and no fans! Having read the comment about the fan in the 2400, does it matter at that sort of power? 2.4kW is a lot of noise.

It depends on the dynamics and how quiet passages are, as the fans are really loud. At loud passages, you are correct, it would not matter. My friend had a pair of the 2400s and had the fans modified to quiet them down. He also never used them full out. Most of the time, he only used maybe 10W. He had plenty of headroom though!
