I suggested that you make a small board with an equivalent circuit on it. Design it to plug into the same SIP pinout. Then you can have a steady supply of this thing. Just add the artwork to your master and puch it out with the rest of your product. Or, make a ton of them at once on their own sheet. You could then sell that as a second source for the original chip as well.
