I'm still amazed how many people ask about these...
I'm not complaining.. I wish I'd had the forthought to look for a video projection forum before I spent the $20 on mine. 🤐
The short answer to your question peloso, is that yes, it will work, no it will not work like the ebay ad says. You will not be able to get a good quality picture out of it. I was able to get a projected image that was very clear in the center, but not around the edges, or vice versa. Which I later found out was totally to be expected. I even bought the glass panes to sandwich the lens with thinking that it would help. I built two different cardboard housings and spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out why mine wouldn't work.
THEN I found diyaudio.
What I did find though was that if you take a 13" tv, and build a box around it that fits very well, and use an actual projection lens, you can get a pretty decent picture. It's not very bright, and it will be inverted, but for the $5 I spent on a projection lens, I was pretty dang impressed. I also know a little something about the insides of monitors because I work on arcade machines, so I did swap around the Horizontal (or vertical, I can't remember which now) deflection so that I was getting an upright picture.
Don't mess with the "150 inch lenses" on ebay... they're garbage.

I wouldnt buy it
This is the DIY 150 inch big screen TV that has been talked about before. You are buying a fresnel lens of that seller which you put into a box around your TV, it then magnifies the picture onto the wall. The thing is, it doesnt work well at all - the picture is blurry and out of focus and even if some of it is in focus, it is really dim and even with all the lights off you cant really see that much. It really isnt worth buying i dont think because the picture is not watchable. Most people on this forum would call it a scam.
