Seas al cone sub project

Hi,

I am planning a DIY sub project based on the 10" Seas prestige Aluminium cone L26RFX.

I am basing the look on the Cain&cain model:

Cain&cain

It is mainly to be used for music but will also be connected to a 5.1 setup. So i am considering using a sealed box.

I have run it through winISD and the box volume is showing 50 litres but on the Seas site:

Seas site

it indicates that a sealed enclosure should be 61-71l..i am wondering which i should follow and whether it will make any difference if it is not perfect size.?

Second question is which plate amp to use either the BK electric (250Wish) or the rythmic audio (250W). or should it be larger eg 350W.?

Thanks in advance, any comments would be very welcome.

thanks for replies and links.

more research required i think but reckon a 250W should be fine. although 350W would give me greater flexibility if i choose to change driver in the future.

I just love the look of the seas Al cone so i think i will just get on and build it.just want to hear how it sounds.!

cheers
