SEAS 29TTFCD/G H1500-6ohm

A few years ago I purchased some drivers from PartsExpress, and one of the drivers were these Seas H1500 tweeters.
The PE part number was 299-760 and stated "Seas H1500 1" Aluminum", and the sticker on the side shows "29TTFCD/G H 1500-6ohm. Made In Norway".

I can't seem to find any spec sheets on this specific driver though? Does anybody know more about this driver, or have a copy of the spec sheet/pdf file?

Thank you

Okay, I don't have the data-sheet from Seas, so there must not have been one in the buyout process.
For those who bought them and want to know information, here is what I have attached. I ended up with 3 units, PE replaced one, as one had a rub in the voice coil upon arrival. Aside from that, it looked very similar to that of Sample 1. I have not yet taken an impedance of Sample 3. I would say that 1.8kHz is not out of the question, however, the frequency response I measured for these in this session is not the flattest, and they roll off pretty quickly. Since these were measured on the floor quasi-IB facing up with dense felt obscuring the transition from faceplate to floor, the FR will change a bit in a baffle, but it should not be drastically different.
The HD sweep is still valid relative to the fundamental as measured, but I would not compare them to other sweeps in different situations.
I hope it is useful for you.

Note- Sample 2 had the rub, but otherwise looked very similar. The measured HD is obviously much worse on that unit.

Thank you for that!

So, I've ran the pair I have through DATS v3 and they show the following parameters

R(e) 4.404 and 4.563
Fs 484.5 and 480
Qts 0.407 and 0.3896
Qes 0.7671 and 0.7107
Qms 0.8672 and 0.8623

Now to find a design where someone have used these in a two way, I have Peerless HDS 830883 that I am considering using. Found a design with that HDS woofer that someone used with the older no longer available Dayton RS28A.

Need to find the RS28A spec sheet and see if the two tweeters are anywhere close...

Yeah I know the old rs28 was highly regarded, it’s weird that Dayton discontinued it and replaced it with the version that doesn’t get nearly as good feedback :/

But regardless , rs28 isn’t available anymore …

Have you tried using these specific Seas tweeters ? I’ve been searching all over the net and can’t find a single design with these :/

Gotcha ! I didn’t realize they were intended for Aerial Acoustics.. i have some buyout drivers from PE that have Aeriel sticker on them.. but these Seas don’t have anything of sort . Odd.

In any case, looks like your set and the one I purchased measure pretty low Fs… so might be good for a 2 way with a 6-7” driver is what I was after .

I have Peerless HDS , Ne180w , Dayton Rs150 and a few other drivers just sitting around. Tons of proven designs , but sadly many utilize the no longer available RS28a…
