Search for NOS/NEW Tubes

I want to buy quite a few NOS or New which ever sound better .

What exactly is "quite a few"? 5 or 5,000? What are they for?
"Whichever sound better" in whose opinion? I'm sure each manufacturer will tell you theirs sound best.

Page 61 of the version I have. They are ordered numerically, then alphabeticaly, so it is not the most intuitive scheme. I.e. 1625 comes between 805 and 6080.

There is a search facility on the PDF, so you find some esoteric equivalents of some tubes that might be a bit restricted on the screen (for example), or not be drop in replacements. For instance 6BS7 is a high quality EF86 equivalent with the grid on the top cap.
