while downsizing my bedroom system , i happned to come across some tdl rtl3 at a yard sale ($10),the boxes were mint but the tweater, crossovers,1 woofer were fried, so over the last year with luck i found another bass driver, hooked them up with a 2 in sealed fr driver and crossed them at 400 hz biamped via electronic xover i was amazed at how much bass and beautiful fr sound i got , i have many tqwt, horns etc but this was different
so what 3 inch fr driver are out there with a sealed back and can play from 200 hz to 20 k ,the bass drivers are 88db, will use a set for the fr
cheers

The paper and bamboo cones sound better to me than the aluminum (which has a little extra zing) but the three i've used all sound basically similar. Seal em up they sound good that way.

the bamboo driver looks good, how would one seal it without affecting the volume for the other drivers,
how low would it go if sealed, would be better if i dont use a crossover on the fr
