I'm interested in building a set of speakers pairing the CSS wr125 with a (cheap) ribbon tweeter, probably the Aurum Cantus G2Si. However, given the sensitivity differences between the two, I figured this might be a good time to try a biamp setup with my Fisher 500C.
Before tackling the xo issues, I need to find a circuit for the high end (above 3k). Does anyone have any recommendations for a SE EL84 circuit? I've got some salvaged iron I'd like to put to use.
And any suggestions for the xo? At this point I'm thinking Rane's SAC 22 might be worth checking out, though it's a much more expensive option than, say, a PLLXO.
Many thanks!

Guys,
The salvaged "iron" is fine. Think long and hard about pentode mode, as Loop NFB is mandatory.
Life gets SIMPLER if you triode wire. Is the 2 WPC or so enough for your purposes?

Switchable Pentode/Triode
Another option may be to put the amp together so you can switch between pentode and triode. A couple of resistors and switches should do the trick.
Cheers,
Gio.
