Hi,
This project is based on the modules SDA-400 of AudioPower.
It consists of a kit complete with anodized aluminum frame, assembled to be placed inside your container 1-U.
In this way, it has the advantage of having a well tried and tested, also under the profile EMI / RFI.
Selection options are:
2 channels to 6 channels.
the SDA-400, are fitted with components and materials exclusive to this promotion (not standard).
Powers (rms at 4R) from 80w to 400w for single module.
The modules are wired and include everything you need for the best performances, so no capacitors add, no changes, no noise, no problem.
The offer price, I think it is unrepeatable.
Today..photos 2Ch & 4 Ch.
Regards

Hi,
Today...ehm.. Today now maybe 🙂
A small delay on aluminum parts, then i show not complete, also for see how i receive the modules from services.
90% assembled, just have some chance as toroid, caps, depeand version/ power we want.
2 ch in photo, is tuned for stereo use with power around 2x350w rms (at 4R) well tested to 2R resistive load.
4 ch as multi way in range of 100w(8R) able to drive direct Tw-MW.
OR 4 ch full range hi-power.
These products and manufactory is guaranteed by AudioPower Italy.
A-POWER logo on products.
P.S, The two SDA-400 are attached (one pcb) but totally electrically separated.

Class D created for music
Hello music lovers, the first is the dual mono kit, complete with all necessary parts, ready to be screwed onto your 1U.
The smps, are the new release for AB class (DPS-400) capable of delivering at 3R 2x500W quietly for 4 hours at 90% audio peaks. right one that will allow an excellent dynamics with any type of speaker with passive crossover.
Note: these products (dual mono and 4ch) will be on the shop AudioPower.
I got permission to launch a promotion to 50% discounted, but only for 20pcs (2CH) and 10pcs (4CH).
I want particularly to offer a product that, in addition to being exciting when listening, it is also a good way to give value to your money, having an excellent construction, ready for any comparison.
The promotion will be launched in a week.
Regards

Hi,
Some features, right in the meantime I put the wired version complete.
Both version have a common mode (Amidon) emi filter at output tuned with RC, to have 200mV rms residual at 400Khz. (of course I had to revise the feedback loop and slope filter) to keep-2dB at 40Khz bandwidth.
The variation between open load, and 4R, remained 1dB at 40Khz. 🙂
all for now.

The MDA-400 Dual Mono.
These amplifiers are characterized by:
The definition in the middle & tweeter range, perfectly comparable with professional class AB.
Dynamic and output current suitable for any speaker.
Note:
Custom designed in 2005 for a particular purpose, for a French company / Germany. (after having discarded all Class D amplifiers that were present on the market from 2005 to 2009) just to the voice and the bass at high volume.
This is a truth that can not be hidden by the beautiful words or slogans as amazzing, nice, bla .. bla .. 🙂

What is the green board for?
Hi, As PBTU-IM black input board stereo version, maybe Tinitus use for other.
Well..Weskoki, when try to listen your MDA??
Hi, As PBTU-IM black input board stereo version, maybe Tinitus use for other.
ahh, a stereo version of the black input board
(I was going to ask about those green boards)
could be for the 2-channel pre I was doing for bass guitar
I had the next listening session this week and I got to some interesting conclusions and by the end of the week I hope to be able to show you some pictures of what I have done so far, I just need some time and a new camera as the old Olympus died today 🙁
My idea is to use less words but with more meaning and that requires thinking 🙂 So far the amps have been a complete joy regarding operation - they measure almost perfectly identical, have been turned on/off and connected and disconnected hundreds of times and never had any problems - indeed a mature design, congratulations, Roberto!

ok, some time ago I got a used 19" pro rack box from a friend
plenty of space for other fun stuff
like a small mic pre, etc
and the onboard aux +/-12V might be convenient for that
seems easy with plenty space available
but nothing is never that simple, is it
well, I decided to make a small sub bottom plate for it
but now I have no clew how to mount a heatsink (I have two)
there are two small holes, but no thread
I might manage to cut threads without getting alu bits all over the board
but one hole is covered by a transistor
any ideas ?

Oh, clean frame 🙂
You can use the two holes (2.6 mm Diam. allow tapping screw directly with 3MA), it is best to use only one screw to create the thread, very simple with a bit of oil.
The thickness of the bar is 8mm, it is enough that you calculations 6mm deep (good even 4mm).
also calculate that the heatsink remains lifted from the base.
In reality, the MDA-400 does not require a heatsink,or use "L" shape.

How do I connect a remote control 2x MDA-400?
Very simple, check well 230Vac phase connection also (very important!!)
Regards
To Nikola: thanks for your nice words 🙂
About components and repeatability of the characteristics:
We follow the production and MDI is in charge of purchasing and testing the components.
Therefore, the services mounted only our components. you can check on all the products, the same serial number. 🙂
this is a great difference in favor of the final quality.
Many rightly do not know how much work is behind a product and maybe they think that it is mounted as a diy.

managed to mount amp module on heatsink and sub plate
quite complicated work making all the holes fit
making chassis holes for plugs etc
and discouvered a small problem with input board
att pot and XLR plug is not in line with each other
XLR mounting surface is behind board edge
pot is correctly mounted
I will have to make a subplate for mounting
may actually have been intended, but I don't know

well, simple solution is to use spacers on XLR plug

Hi Tinitus,
They do align, you have to make a hole big enough for the XLR to go trough from the inside. Look at the XLR jack screw sockets, they align with the encoder's frame.
Ciao!
