BetsyK has a nice midrange - I think I've still got one in Art Welter's Dad's interpretation of a Karlson 8 - doesn't go "low" but my on $80-sale 10" powered Polk sub makes pipe organ sound pretty nice.

If you're really looking for a wood working challenge, the standard Betsy sounds awesome in a "reso" or "resonanz" cabinet. Won't get you anywhere near 30 Hz though.
