Scott Nixon DacKit question

I built the DacKit (SS) and it works. But one of the two lights will not come on while it’s working. And it appears to me that the dac filters out the highs??? Is this just me or would something be wrong with the dac?

Talked to Scott and replaced that cable and wire and it sounds GREAT!!!
