What do you mean by "using transistors"? Completely discrete-component-design or discrete output stage?

You can use PWM-controllers to drive output transistors or you can use (almost) completely integrated solutions like NXP TDA8920 and its variants or something else. Maybe the best way to start is first to look at wikipedia:

Wiki Class-D

and then some amplifier circuit datasheets like:

NXP integrated solution

Of course you should also use search on this forum and Google.

firstly, thanx for your care

i mean, i need a claas d amplifier circuit with 5 w output or higher, but that circuit wont have any integrated component. every stages of amp. will be designed with normal electronic components (fets, opamps, resistors, capacitors etc..) not already preapered kits.

i hope it has been an explanatory comment for you ...

We have developed one new discrete class d amp for subwoofer, used in car subwoofer or home theater.

Because class d amp based IC (like NXP TDA series) are serious shortage,so we have to use high rate of costs discrete class d circuit.

we have test it about one month, excellent sound for subwoofer, this circuit idea come from IR application (http://www.hixem.cn/IC/IR/support/technical-info/refdesigns/IRAUDAMP1.pdf)

because Ir2110 also shortage,so we have to develop one new circuit to replace it,we try the Logic gate as Mosfet driver,it is very cheap.

Finally we finish the amp ,it intergrate the dc/dc and discrete calss d in one board, sound well.

100W/4ohm works stable, the cost very lower, only half of normal circuit.

but it only suit for bass not full range, very high rate of costs.

I suggest you can try it,provide one idea nothing more .

Few components and works stable.

place some pic for reference.

The D-class amplifier you have suggested looks excellent. It has very few components, but its efficency is outstanding.

The concept of my project was recently determined. For my D-class amplifier, a 100 mV input voltage and 5 Watts of output power generation is required of me. I don't need to design a very complex circuit, it's only going to be a basic one. Would you help in any kind of way, perhaps direct me to some sources? I would appreciate if its especially about circuit designs, I need a little help there.
