There may be benefit to flatten the impedance peak around FS of the driver.
But the trick here is to tame the ringing of the drivers/breakup exactly where it is.
This is done with series notch that actually boost the impedance exactly at breakup?
So what Purify does is to passively both boost impedance AND then notch out the peak frequence response

So if we remove the Resistor like below, the impedance would still be boosted, but no change with frequency?
