It`s too strange ,but I work with many Philips Players with the TDA1541 Dac+CDM 4/11 or with CDM4/19.For me this DAC have a really natural sound.I want to make one TDA1541 DAC Non-os ,but may be I can work now with TDA1543,because the second is very cheap.I can`t speak anything for this DAC.Will be great if anyone can help me to choose.
For the TDA1541 DAC i looking for any good project with basic PCB design, because I can`t design the PCB.If anyone can help me...
I find ,but without any PCB design and may be too complex for me :
this project
And my favourite with TDA1543 : Nonoz III ,without any PCB design
Thanks for the help

The PCB for Pedja's DAC is available.

I also suggest the project by Thorsten Loesch

A PCB is not available for this DAC, but is sounds GREAT. You can build the digital stage "dead bug style" on a copper plane, and the tubed output stage point-to-point.
Regards.

Sandor, but I can`t buy the Pedja's DAC PCB,because I `am from Bulgaria and nobody want to ship for me and my country. I can`t work with tubes.
In my DIY amps and preamps I have a preference for transistors and IC`s.
I`am very unskilled for tubes now

Guys I continue to wait for any help, but may only I wait.
I looking for all projects with TDA1541/43/45 with any PCB design or rudimentary schematics design and good ,may be natural, sounding.

Peter Daniel's TDA1543 DAC is very simple and very good, so you needn't buy PCB but do it point to point.
Can you give me any info for this DAC and any mail. What is the price of Peter Daniel DAC PCB.I founded his thread for the ultimate design for the 1543 DAC ,but the info is very poor in this very big thread

Now I have a very big problem-I can`t find CS8412/14 in my country.
I looking for any project without this IC and with TDA1541/43/45.
I know that I have many requirements ,but how I can make this DAC without any fundamental parts

If you cannot get hold of the SPDIF receiver, you can feed the DAC directly from a CD player with corresponding I2S bus inside. Not really flexible, but inexpensive 🙂
I want to use the SPDIF-this is the designation of this project for me
For the moment I can`t find any project with TDA1545.May be and this DAC use any CS8412 or CS8414 for the SPDIF receiver.

One of my freind has a TDA1541 DAC ... I love it ... but i am not good at building one. But the sound from that DAC is great.... 🙂
Very smooth just like good LP🙂

As first step you can try to put several TDA1543 piggy-back (up to 4). See for DDDAC in Google. This is the easiest. The next step is to make a DAC with TDA1541 on a universal board. It's not expensive, trust me. You can make one with two TDA1541 - it sounds great!
And for the missing receiver IC - go to the manifacturer site, register and ask for samples. It's not sure, but is possible you receive it. But be modest in your wishes.

Hi.I did not try any Tda1541 chip.I have a vcd player that have coax output.I want to build a dac but there are many discussions about NOS/OS versions. Some say SAA7220 chip makes sound bad.Someone say an OS dac is better.I do not know what to do.I do not have much time so i need a ready pcb or easy diy pcb and build a TDA1541a dac with a single chip.It is good to me to be easy.I have opa627 opamps and i want to use them at the output.Maybe i will use HDAM opamp in future.Would anyone give me a suggestion/link?Thank you very much
Which configuration is better?CS8412+saa7220+tda1541 or dir9001+saa7220+tda1541 ?or only cs8412+tda1541?
