Um, yes, similar in power.
The published spec of the aleph 3 is 30 watter per channel in 8 ohms.
The published spec of the xa30.5 is 30 watts per channel in 8 ohms. That is similar in my book! Ok, I should have said it was the same.
Yes, it is in production.
So, is there a schematic available for it?

I am actually thinking about buying a new one for my B&W 804 matrix from 1994. What do you think Nelson?
I know some will laugh at this, but I still have the aragon 2004 which is not too bad. I bought a huge classe model 750, and it was too dark sounding. I got rid of that. I tried an ARC solid state-absolutely terrible...lasted a minute in my system. It ripped my ears out with its sharp treble. I built a pass aleph 3 from schematics on here. Sounds really good. I dont think the bass is as deep as I would like though. I dont need a lot of volume. I like Al dimeola and the holley cole trio at realistic listening levels.
I can not find anything that totally kills the aragon. I am wondering if I need a new pair of speakers...lol

The answer to your question is in you. Nobody here knows your preference. I like Pass sonic signature and could go blindly with any of his product but you may be a different story. I consider XA30.5 very fine power amp and do not plan any upgrade ever unless they come up with better one 🙂

If there any schematic availble, maybe A3 and F4 project will be canceled and GO for XA30.5. From sixmoon site & ather site rivew...that is very different A3/30 with XA30.5, yes..that is very similar to F4 output but with 3k3 3 watt on the output + 20 mosfet/chanel running balanced, susy's frontend,etc...I think, this is the most DIYer waiting to build and get the best PL product...ten year's later, maybe😀,
for now BBA-3 with Crippled F4 balanced that is quiet similar to XA30.5, maybe...🙄
