Scans 21W8554 MLTL ideas?

I came across a pair of lightly used 8554's for a good price. Have always liked Scans drivers. Have a 300 ft2 room and would likely place them along sidewalls, laying down as it fits decor/traffic best, so they'll get plenty of room gain. Mains right next to them, crossed 70-100 hz is first idea (will try them to 300 hz at some point for other drivers). Marchand xm-1 xo's, 24db.
Vas 160L
Fs 23
Qts .22
Qms 1.7
Qes .25

Sd 220 cm2

I realize ideas have changed since '89 when I made last TL, so wonder if anyone has MLTL'd these drivers with success? Other than MLTL is fine of course, just read that the low q worked better in straight and mass loaded.
Thanks, Don

Greets!

Corner loaded works best for low Qt drivers, so gain won't be quite enough on side walls unless you go with an unstuffed TL, which will necessitate a low XO point for max smoothness (before the room chops it up of course). With stuffing it should have no trouble being used at 300 Hz, though a goodly portion of its gain will go away in the process.

Anyway, here's an EBS MLTL where Fs = Fb, Vas = Vb:

L = 37.78"
w x d = 258.8125"^2 - suggest 20.5" x 12.625"
driver down 16.875"
4" dia. x 6" long vent near/at the bottom

Recommend lining top, one wall and back down to just below the driver with 1" acoustic fiberglass insulation, otherwise loosely fill it with 0.1-0.2 lbs/ft^3 of polyfil.

23 Hz Alpha TL:

L = 144.625"
w x d = 61.87"^2 - suggest 6.187" x 10"
driver down 38.625"

Stuff along its length with polyfil as required.

Thanks Greg, now I see with vas = vb, this driver needs a large box. But I think I 'd like to hear the result and can fit the box in my room if I can : lay it on it's back, mount the woofer on a side panel (centered?), vent out the bottom. (This assumes the common set up of standing box vertically, woofer on narrow panel). I can try it on side wall and move it towards corner if needed. Obviously this isn't a super hero woofer for 23hz bass, if it falls short in output I'll keep trying with larger woofer. The dimensions of the box means if it's doesn't satisfy I can cut them down to 2ft3 or so vented cabs, so there's no worries. But I'm really curious about what the MLTL will add to the depth and output, also I always hear that MLTL has great sq.
Thanks, Don
