scandinavian chess opening

Actually the only reason I am interested in the nags is I seem to make money out of them every week. Honestly, I don't make this up. I win most every week. 🙂

It's not a question of beating the Bookies. You've actually gottta beat your fellow punters. Who honestly do a fairly random thing.

Maybe Chess is was not my natural game. I lost as often as I won. But I do great on the Gee Gees. What you gotta think about is there's 20 good 2-y-o's around.

These nags will be winning the 2000 Guineas next year. The Derby. The St. Leger. I am on it already.

I must honestly duck the Prix de l'Arc except for small stakes. But I think Love will win it.

I don't know how informed you folks are in Romania, But we enjoy a Horse Race in the UK.

It's a fairly random thing. TBH, I would avoid this Rich Race like the Plague:

4:00 Longchamp (FR) | Standard Racecard | 4 October 2020 | Racing Post

Two hot favourites. Love and Enable. Both about 2-1. Both great horses. But my instinct is to avoid the whole issue.

I prefer safer races. If you want to know, just ask. Better stuff at Ascot, IMO. 🙂

dreamth, perhaps that came out wrong. I must congratulate you for a far more interesting topic than most people start. Really. 😎

Games are fascinating things. And the Scandinavian Chess defense is interesting double-edged stuff. I'd like to give it ago myself. Though I'd have to find a Chess Set to do that.

Reason I got a bit frustrated and switched to the Horse-racing game, is I posted a two hour video about Grandmaster Chess:

Maurice Ashley- Grandmaster

If someone comes back in 10 minutes, I just know they aren't a serious player:

Trash-talking Opponent

The second video will appeal to any Sportsman. Never underestimate your opponent. Unless you are messing about. In which case you shall lose. 😀

Chess is fun. Team Chess even deeper, because you can hide team weaknesses with some skill. But I like some other Sports which have some more random factors. Hope I explained that better.

Hard day on the old Chess Computer:

These things are monsters. 🙁

I took on the Linux Gnome Chess computer:

Playing GNOME Chess

It just trounced me every time at the high level. I thought I had it beaten so many times with my dull and patient Strategic Positional Game. But it was just unerringly sharp on Tactics. But I shall beat it yet. 😀

I used to do alright against Chess Computers.

Beaten them a few times even at high level. 😎

Today's bitter defeats were with the Black Pieces. Maybe White to play and win is the only certain hope. I got close to drawish with Black against the Gnome computer. But couldn't get over the line First. 🙁

For those who don't know, Asteroids, Space Invaders and Ping Pong were the first time we met relentless Artificial Intelligence.

Thing is, Computers never tire. They just keep going, barring a power-cut. Whereas me, I need a rest sometimes.

i honestly don't get 90% of your phrases or sentences.this is my last intervention in this topic...is all yours

ha! you have not followed one of System7’s chats before!

He’s got his own style, but clearly a person with some special intellectual gifts. Probably wasted here.

Now, are we going to get some tips for the horses ?

He's out of my league in chess and probably many other things...so i left him this topic to write whatever he wants to.Besides i don't get all the english words meaning and i don't find easy to understand what he wants to tell me anyway .

What is it about you that you that thought that is about you that you have to have an East-European accent to be taken seriously in Chess?

Grandmaster Maurice Ashley takes on a street hustler (Wilson) in NYC. What a gent! One of my favourite moments in Chess. 😀

TBH, my friends, duck the Arc. A terrible race. 😱

I have better winners. Ascot and Newmarket look better to me.

I can only tell it like it is. I am struggling to call it next weekend. Probably will duck it completely.

According to my notes, Berkshire Rocco is going on Friday at Ascot in the 14.30. But as an ew result for me last time, but now in an indifferent 4 way race, and 9-4 odds-on, I have already lost interest,

I am far more interested in Sprinter Battaash in the 16.25 on October 04 at Paris Longchamps. The fastest thing on 4 legs.

Can't see anything stopping it, can you?

4:25 Longchamp (FR) | Standard Racecard | 4 October 2020 | Racing Post

I love Battaash. But rarely bet on favourites, and never on less than the top nags in Group One, and never ever on Handicaps.

We are in it for the Money. 🙂

Ooh, just noticed Glass Slippers is running. I like that that one. One of me regular little earners. Battaash may slip a saddle or land on its nose. Let us in each way for sure.

LOL.

TBH, I never bought into the idea of Marriage and living happily ever after, So no divorces in my life. Though I have walked out of the door on occasion.

It's not that simple:

The most famous EVER Romanian is Nadia Comaneci:

Nadia Comaneci - First Perfect 10 | Montreal 1976 Olympics - YouTube

I was stunned by her performance. With hindsight we know it involved a lot of drugs and State interference. But she did OK. 😀

Must add this. She dances like an Angel. But what is she like to live with?

Yeah, but hindsight tells us the Romanion State injected their young athletes with drugs to keep them young and light. This was the days of the Cold War.

Same reason East Germany gave Katerina Witt cars and apartments.

Katarina Witt Wins Gold - Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympics - YouTube

She did OK too, IMO. 10 hours practice a day for 10 years gets respect from me. But you'd never get me on the beam like Nadia.

My Niece broke her back with that stunt. Something I still feel sad about.
