Does anyone have experience with Scan Speak D3004 602010 in combination with;
Scan Speak 12M 4631G00 or
Scan Speak 12MU 4731T00 or
Scan Speak 15W 4531G00.
I've owned the Driade 103 MKII with Eton drivers and i wanted to make something similar. It was a very good sounding / build loudspeaker. With a dome tweeter, 10 cm midrange and a 20 cm woofer sealed.
For the woofer i found till now;
Eton 11 581/50 Hex (normaly designed for a vented box)
Seas Excel W26FX002 (Nextel, only vented possible)
Seas Prestige CD22RN4X (vented possible and to cheap ?)
Scan Speak 22W 8851T00 (goes not very low)
Scan Speak 26W 8861T00 (actually too big)
Wavecor SW270WA01 (a bit unknown, but possible closed in 42.6L 40Hz)
SB Acoustics SB29NRX75-6 (also a bit un unknown, but possible closed in 33.1L 42Hz).
Now i've build the ER18RNX, but for me the bass isn't low enough and i want to return to a soft dome tweeter.
Has someone suggestions ?
Thanks Andreas

It really wont matter being the bottom of a 3-way, the resonance will be completely removed. Troels has so many designs though...

Sorry for the Jazzman, but i hate alu cones.
Properly crossed, it shouldn't make a difference, unless you like the higher 2nd order distortion from paper cones.
Is there no one who has tried to use the Scan Speak D3004 602010 with a 4" of 5" driver (midrange or woofer or MTM) ?
