Here's an idea, mount it on a OB and add a sealed 12" woofer and cross actively at 300Hz

It will be mounted in a sealed enclosure with a JMLC 400hz horn crossed line level at 500hz over to a pair of Seas A26RE4, also sealed 🙂 At the moment they are playing naked without a baffle.

BTW, I thought for a while, with the SEAS woofer, you can make a Quad ESL style OB with simple cap and inductor first order crossover!

Yeah I noticed 🙂 But living in Norway makes it easly accessable 🙂

The woofer will be active with a plate amp, and the SS driver will be crossed passive line level with a single cap to deal with horn loading.

I've recieved my pair, and made some quick measurements. Driver laying in bed... Not too shabby... 🙂 12 db/octave 500 hz line level XO connected.

Defo: That's not shabby at all! It is excellent IMO. Flat response from 2kHz up to 15kHz! BTW, you will need a very large horn to load down to 250Hz to play safe, but I guess you guys do have that kind of space. 😉

I have a 48 cm wide LeCleach horn that loaded the driver very well down to 500 hz the last time I measured it. Only problem is a large dip at 8-9 khz. I will make a separate thread for problemshooting.
