I have a ASK impact 400 panel the user guidse is here

It claims to have a scan convertor built in?? Does this mean that all I need is a scart to 26 pin (lcd panel ) cable (UK DVDs are scart) with the correct pins aloocated or I can use a composite video to 26 pin (lcd panel) for video sorces that are not RGB?
If so then I am really pleased with this panel.
