I have currently ADC in prototype loudspeaker and thinking if it makes sense and is worthwhile the effort to try CDC as well. Anyone who has the experience with both and can describe if there is any difference in the sound? Thanks...
I don't think there is any difference than the dome color. ADC is anodized black, CDC is anodized white. Perhaps CDC is little more expensive due to more scrap parts in production, as more white domes might get sorted out due to beauty issues.
From the published measurements I found I cannot see deviations in performance and behaviour exceeding expectable production tolerances.
In German Hobby Hifi magazine both were tested, and the author Bernd Timmermans stated also there is no difference than color, so he recommends to take the cheaper ADC...

Nice proposal, that would be killer tweeters. With classic narrow surrounds please, not the thick bike tubes....
