Saxon SA25 amplifier module

It may be helpful if I submit the attached photos of a 1970s Saxon 'SA25/35 D-2942' module. They may jog someone's memory.

I am presuming it is this module, or one very similar, that you are looking for.

My attention was drawn to your post because, back in the 70s, I briefly auditioned a Saxon solid state power amplifier for use in my Mobile Disco.

I sense a story behind your search for this particular module!

Yes that is exactly the one I'm looking for, only nostalgia ! I had one of these when I was 11 years old but at the time didn't have a clue how to wire it up or indeed what else I needed to get it working, transformer rectifier and so on. Was hoping someone had one tucked away somewhere which they don't want. Did it sound / work as hoped expected ? Having only 4 connections it would have been capacitor coupled to the loudspeaker I presume.

I can see two identical 2N3294 NPN output transistors rather than a complimentary output pair.

I'm not an amplifier design expert, but I believe this is a feature of a quasi-complimentary output stage amplifier.

This format was used until sufficiently rugged PNP output transistors finally became available in the late 60s/early 70s.

The circuit will be similar to the one shown in this link: https://circuit-diagramz.com/sixties-style-40-w-audio-amplifier-schematic-circuit-diagram/
