Thanks 🙂 . The one with RAAL are stuffed with a bunch Fountek FR89EX and eight SB SW26DAC76-8. The system is driven by six amps.
More info: Google "Line array Bendit HLS".
An experienced hifi reviewer claimed in a Norwegian web magazine that this is the very best "compact" speaker he ever heard. He even ordered from us a complete subwoofer tower system from us replacing 2 Paradigm SUB 1. It is very pleasant and gives us the courage to start more projects.

Thank you. The "Moelva" is sold to an audiophile nearby Oslo. The "Bendit" is owned by the cabinet maker until......
If you are an enterprise selling products I think you should post under the Commercial sector. Still, love the project!
Will you post complete drawings etc?

Nope, this just an exiting hobby mostly trying to combine big sound in rather narrow speaker cabinets. Narrow, because a small 2-way demands approx the same footprint as tall ones, so why not occupy the space above. Luckily, there appear buyers, so we can afford continue with this "disease". Counting material costs and man-hours, this is for sure no way to make ends meet or buying Champagne. 🙂. Posted sketch (#1) of speakers may be scaled.

Grids w/ felt mountedEven an enterprise losing money is still a commercial venture 😉 - but ok!

Lovely stuff! Would you ever do a group buy for CNC’d panels?Grids w/ felt mounted
I did draw the speakers by AutoCad. The side panel files were mailed to a furniture workshop nearby, they have CNC facilities. The curved front panels were routed by hand and template as a totally flat counter flange is mandatory. Sorry, we have no custom CNC panels.
I can recommend you to build a similiar system.
The system has finally passes its acid test:
Die-hard hifi nerds gathered 2 evenings last weekend in Oslo to evaluate the system.
One of the listeners owns the flagship from Perlisten and had also experience with Tannoy Westminsters.
His own words:
"I must honestly admit that Moelva is one of the most majestic things I have ever heard. I've heard the statement "the speakers disappear" before, but never really understood what it meant. Before Saturday. I probably had to get up two or three times to check that there were no more speakers playing in the room. At one point I thought the owner was messing with me. It was simply something 'uncanny' how both the speakers and the room evaporated when the lights were switched off and the music was on. Music that I never listen to suddenly became balm and I finally felt almost apathetic and sad where I sat. Can't remember a pair of speakers having provoked emotions in such a way before."
The owner who is also a film enthusiast has ordered 6 pcs 21" servo-controlled subwoofers (Merovinger) to replace his two PB16 SVS.

Very interesting. I’ve always enjoyed line arrays as they project a super sized phantom scene, vertically and horizontally; sometime uncanny, sometimes unsettling. I never lived with one long enough to know if they were keepers or on constant rotation or whether one needs a 2nd system.
Please show us some polar measurements; particularly in vertical plane.

Thanks a lot ! I am over-incompetent in this context, but I dare say that they are a musical revelation, but "not existing" at the same time. This is very very much thanx to a DIY-fellow who did extensive work with the Hypex DSP set-points and the patient owner. @TNT: Yes, they survived 🙂
The concept now finds its own universe, more similiar DIY builds are in progress,
I am not part of this continuation (fired and retired ?)

No files are saved, but maybe when new the subs are in action.Very interesting. Yes, lines might tend to sound some oversized or blooming due to the different delays.
Here, the parabolic shape and stepped frequency proved to sharpen the focus but still made it self disappearing. Also important, the room was « friendly» with regard to its acoustic properties.

Perhaps a wwmtmww 3-way speaker should not be called line array?
Side slots purpose? Have you measured off-axis - is horizontal pattern cardioid, was that the goal??
Vertical pattern of line array is nothing but wide and smooth, just the opposite. But a tall wwmtmww's pattern most likely is narrow and smooth. Curving and sequential delay adjustment have almost the same effect, but dsp is adjustable. Wesayso has lots of experience and examples with VCAD about this in his thread https://www.diyaudio.com/community/...range-line-array.242171/page-350#post-6752259
