For stability and damping i like to fill the foot of a
speaker with sand.
That has often been done i guess, nothing new
here. What about embedding the whole crossover
in the sand ?
For resistors i would use a heat sink, to provide
radiation/convection to the outside air, but what
about coils and caps burried in sand ?
