First post here. I have a Samson Servo 120A with an open led. I have removed all the screws to get to the front panel board so I can replace the led but I cannot get the knobs off the pot shafts. They are very tight and in the past I have pulled the shaft out of pots when they were like this! Yikes! Any suggestions? Thanks.
Got it. Finagled a bent dental scraper into the panel from the rear and pushed them off. They were really tight, tightest I've ever seen. Thanks anyway.
Have You tried the flat Screwdriver between the know and the faceplate approach ? Sometimes I also use my Teeth.
The knobs on this amp are recessed so can't get behind them like that. I took a dental scraper and bent it into a shallow 'J' shape and managed to get it into the shaft hole from the rear between the pc board and the fascia and it allowed me to push them off the shaft. It was like a Chinese finger toy where pulling on them would not budge but pushing on them worked. Strange. Anyway they are off now thanks for replying.

Now that is an image to treasure! Not sure your dentist would approve.
