SAA7220 Slave Clock Mode with 11.2 Mhz TTL Clock

Any one has any idea in making the SAA7220 to work with a 11.2Mhz TTL Clock source? I try connecting the clock source directly to the SAA7220. It fails to play....

Nope. I just solder the output form my Word Clock to pin 11. Leaving a 1Mega Ohm connecting Pin 10 and Pin 11 and also a 33pf connecting Pin 10 and ground. The Pin 11 has a connection to the word clock and also has a 33pf connecting to the ground.

I will try that in the coming days. I just wonder what is stopping it from working?
