SAA7020 pin 38 (Gap) .Disconnect from ground and connect to +5V (?) via 1k resistor. Am & right?

So & connected +5V to 38 pin SAA7020 ,made 16 bit output from SA7000 . & hear weak music and loud HF noise. What else should & do?

It is not quite as simple as it looks. The SAA7000 loads the dac with a 14/16 bit burst clock. The AD1865 is an 18bit device. Therefore you don't have enough clock cycles to fully load the AD1865. The simplest solution is to use the AD1856 or the PCM56 or use a digital filter. Using an 18bit or higher chip without a digital filter requires quite a bit of glue logic.
