Hey there, I've been using my projector fantastically for about 3 days now, it ran for a good 6 hours yesterday, everything was fine until this morning
It would stay on for about 15 minutes then shut off, almost as if it was overheating (I have proper cooling) it did that twice, now it won't turn on anymore.
At first It was giving a blue spark like it was trying to start, but didn't have the power, I tried the Phillips bulb from Home Depot, and the same thing, no light.
The ballast is giving power to the fans just fine so I think its good, What else could it be? I'd like to get this fixed tommorrow its driving me nuts!
Its the Coil Ballast from Ebay
Thanks!

Is the ballast your using the S51? The Ushio bulb needs the higher wattage the MV S51 ballast puts out. If your using a standard M59 or M135 ballast that's your problem.

I'm using the ballast that is very commonly used with the ushio, it was working fantastic all week, and for a very extended period of time yesterday.
I'm not sure if the Cap or the Ignitor went out, where in gods name would I get them? I'd prefer not to have to Ebay again and wait
