S/PDIF to AES3 with low costs?

Distance between SPDIF output and AES3 input is about 35ft/10 meters.
I'm gonna need:
  • RCA to BNC cable
  • NADITBNC-M (Female BNC 75 Ω input - male XLR chassis connector 110 Ω output.)
  • 110 Ohm AES/EBU Cable or just regular XLR cable?

Or are there any other, better solutions for this?

This solution maybe then?
Maybe. It appears to have a rechargeable battery to do the level shifting. Looks like it needs recharging every 5 hours or so.

AES3 receivers are usually the same ICs as S/PDIF receivers, but with a different termination resistor on the PCB and without one side being grounded. You therefore have a pretty good chance that a 1:√(110/75) transformer without any level shifter will work, even though it is not standard compliant. Besides the different levels, the channel status bits are also different between S/PDIF and AES3, but there is a lot of equipment that doesn't use those anyway or interprets them correctly anyway.
